What Day's are you open?
We are open everyday by appointment only. We ask that you call to schedule with us any day of the week based on availability.
Can I cancel my appointment?
We would appreciate at least 24 hours notice for a cancellation. We understand “life” happens. Please call us to cancel or change your scheduled appointment.
How long are appointments?
We book appointments for one-hour for each client, with 15-30 minutes between. We use this time to tidy up and clean all surfaces.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not take insurance - Payments Accepted: Care Credit, Health Savings Account cards, Flexible Spending Account Cards, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
Why appointment only?
At Northwest Optical, we operate By Appointment Only because it allows us to provide a more personal and focused experience for every client. One-on-one appointments give us the time to understand your individual needs, preferences, prescription, and personal style without the distractions of a traditional retail environment.
We originally adopted this approach during COVID and quickly discovered how much our clients valued the individualized attention. We chose to continue the appointment-only model because it gives each client dedicated time to explore frame options, ask questions, and receive the personal service that has become an important part of the Northwest Optical experience.
Do you fit for contacts?
At Northwest Optical, we do not provide contact lens fittings. We believe this specialized service is best handled by the licensed eye doctors who prescribe them, ensuring the highest level of care and accuracy for your vision needs. We’re happy to assist with all your eyeglass and optical accessory needs once your prescription is in hand.
